When tried, he does not falter ;
A shelter to the pure ;
When assailed, he does not fall.
A light upon the pathway of the just.
Permanent in purity and peace, he is established in Truth is supreme ;
gentleness and strength.
Truth is invincible ;
Who mourns for sin ?
Truth is triumphant for ever and ever.
Who gropes for deliverance?
Who searches for the permanent ?
