TRANSCRIBER'S NOTE:
In the original book on page 107 and in two places in the index (page 120), the word 'Dai-Kan' is spelt with a macron over the last letter 'a'. This was changed in this text file to a normal 'a' to comply with ISO-8859-1 standard.
Typographical errors in the text have been changed as follows:
Page 57: added missing word 'pan' after 'Now add to the'.
Page 107: 'DAI-KAN' changed to 'DAI-KAM'.
In addition to this, minor punctuation errors have been corrected without comment.
Other variations in spelling and inconsistent hyphenation have been retained as they appear in the original book.
